The Structure of a BV Laytime Calculation
The BV Portal allows calculations for single ports as well as for entire voyages with any number of ports. Each calculation, regardless of the number of ports in that calculation, is stored in a single file.
There are four basic input screens: 1) Trade Details; 2) Port Details; 3) Statement of Facts; 4) Pro-Rata Calculation (Optional). Each port description holds its own statement of facts so that we have the following basic structure:
